Student Mental Health  Nursing Forum
Scotland 

•A student led forum formed in June 2020, consisting of student representatives across 9 Scottish Universities.

•Committee members across all nursing disciplines – bridging the gap between Adult, Mental Health, Peadeatric and Learning Disability nursing.

•We provide and support a collective student nurse voice.

•We share ideas and tips among the group and wider student nurse community.

•Participate in a ‘bigger than us’ campaign that includes leaders across different health boards.

•Participate in projects with organisations such as HIS (health Improvement Scotland) and NES (NHS education for Scotland)

•Provide a safe space (within NMC guidelines) that students can raise issues or concerns at a higher level.

•Creates a strong student voice to raise concerns with our leaders.
